Taste and Aroma: Premium green tea with a floral and astringent finish. Lavender notes abound creating a tea for memories. The cup is exemplary with notes of sweet grass, moss and honey leading to a finish sprinkled with peach, and floral tones.
Servings: One jar will make about 200 cups of tea.
Caffeine Content: Low
Hot Tea: Place about 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of tea in your cup and cover with hot water. Let the tea steep for about 3 minutes. Do not remove the leaves from the cup. Refill until the flavor of the tea is exhausted, about three times. For best results, use water that is about 180 F.
Iced Tea: To make 1 liter/quart, place 6 teaspoons of tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Steep for 5 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher, straining the leaves. Add ice and top up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced tea is to double the strength of hot tea, since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water.
