Raw Tupelo Honey
Tupelo Honey is by far the most coveted honey Capital Bee Company offers. Often referred to as the "Cadillac of Honeys" or the "Queen of Honey" Tupelo stands in a class of its own.
The white tupelo tree grows naturally and abundantly in a very small, swampy region of the Southeast. Production of Tupelo Honey is limited and can be attributed to the short blooming season, which can be further reduced (or even obliterated) by poor weather conditions; a labor-intensive and stressful harvest; and development that is decreasing the size of this already small region.
Against all odds, it seems, somehow the bees create Tupelo Honey for us.
This this high-grade, pleasantly sweet honey has a light golden color, buttery undertones and a full body floral flavor. And, due to the higher fructose level this honey never crystallizes.
Tupelo is very versatile and goes well with anything you can think of.
Flavor Notes: Delicate, buttery, floral, with a hint of spice

Capital Bee honey is raw, unprocessed, and never heated, allowing particles of healthful pollen, propolis, and beeswax to remain. Capital Bee honeys are made by bees in the USA.
